Do you maintain an average balance of over $2,500 in your
savings account? In that case you may want to open a Super Now Savings Account.
A Super Now Savings account will pay a higher interest rate than the regular
savings account and it allows you to write a limited number of checks on the
account. This account can also be set up to provide automatic transfers on a
regular basis from your checking account in order to increase your savings
balance, or from savings to checking to cover overdrafts.
The Super Now Savings Account provides you with special checks which you can use
to pay a third party. The number of checks you can write without incurring a
charge is 3. You may also have 3 other withdrawals for a total of six
withdrawals per month. If you exceed the 6 withdrawals there will be a $3.00 per
withdrawal charge. The checks are not returned with your monthly statement. If
your balance should fall below the $2,500 minimum requirement you will be
charged $10.00 each month you do not meet the required minimum.
